Using Pilate's methods of core stability and alignment, students can improve posture, increase core strength and mobility, improve flexibility and balance, decrease risk of injury, and enhance other methods of training. Mat Pilates can even improve performance in other sports such as golf, tennis and skiing. Lisa T., instructor

This relaxing way of practicing yoga helps heal the effects of a busy, stressful lifestyle and helps soothe the nervous system, calm and focus the mind. With the use of blocks and straps, students are able to achieve the essential nature of the yoga poses without using much muscular strength enabling students to hold poses for a greater length of time and facilitate a deep release. The restorative poses will be combined with gentle strengthening poses, calming movements and breath work to help surrender, open, and release tension on the physical, mental, emotional levels.
